With over 60 years of combined experience in vertical SaaS, M&A, and scaling software groups, the HighMark team has repeatedly turned €2–10 million ARR companies into category leaders.
We’ve built, scaled, and sold businesses to strategic buyers such as TSS, Main Capital, and private equity firms across Europe and the US — and now apply that experience systematically for the next generation of AI-native founders.

CEO

Matthias van Alphen
M&A director
Transformed Bizzdesign into a fast-growing global SaaS company and founded Connect Capital to support tech founders in scaling and exits.
Mafalda Vaz
FInance DIRECTOR
25 years in finance and operations; former KPMG auditor and COO at Bizzdesign, where she scaled revenue from €5 m to €22 m ARR.
Robert Wijers
CFO
Ten years in M&A and fundraising in Europe and the US; built a programmatic acquisition strategy completing 11 software deals in one year.
Ron van Bijsterveld
CEO
Ron built and sold multiple vertical market B2B SaaS companies. Total Specific Solutions (TSS) acquired his first company. He then joined their board of directors to grow the group to over EUR 200m recurring revenue.
Matthias van Alphen
M&A director
Matthias transformed Bizzdesign from an IT consultancy & software business into a fast-growing global SaaS company. He has founded Connect Capital supporting bootstrapped founders with exiting their businesses.
Mafalda Vaz
FInance DIRECTOR
Mafalda has 25 years of experience in finance and operations. Formerly an auditor at KPMG, as a COO at Bizzdesign, she professionalized and scaled the company from EUR 5M to EUR 22M annual recurring revenue.
Robert Wijers
CFO
Robert has 10 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions and fundraising in EU and US. While stationed several years in New York City, Robert built a programmatic M&A strategy for 11 acquisitions in one year (EUR 60M).
